100% Pure Gum Spirits of Turpentine handcrafted by Diamond G Forest Products, a family-owned and operated agribusiness in south Georgia, USA.

Not to be confused with "rectified turpentine," which is a by-product of the pulp and paper industry containing sulfates and other impurities, this is small batched 100% pure and organic gum turpentine.

Expect better paint handling with using this as a solvent due to its strength and natural tack. Very little is needed due to its purity and authenticity. Thins damar resin based varnishes and mediums.

Standard precautions apply: Flammable - keep away from spark, heat, or flame. Use only in well ventilated area and avoid prolonged breathing of vapor. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN Harmful or fatal if swallowed; irritant to skin and eyes.

Diamond G Forest Products's stated mission is to revive the once thriving pine gum industry in the southern region of the United States, especially in southern Georgia. Imaged above is how they employ sustainable forest practices by "tapping" the slash pine tree, instead of scarring its trunk, to extract and collect the raw pine gum that is then fire distilled into turpentine and rosin, using centuries old methods and great care.

We are excited to offer such an exceptional handcrafted solvent ideal for use with our colors. Available for shipment using ground service only, or for in-person purchase at our Easton, PA showroom.

100% Pure Gum Spirits of Turpentine cannot be shipped internationally, only available for shipping within the US by ground service, no express or air shipping.
