Authentic, 100% pure Bone Black for warm silvery grays and excellent mixing qualities to push colors into a warmer range without deadening the hues. 

Warm transparent black excellent for creating delicate greens or golds when mixed with either our Cadmium Yellow Lemon or Mars Yellow. Shown here at left is the Ivory Black and mixing into Mars Orange at center, without dulling it. By contrast, Lamp Black (far right) clouds over the Mars Orange at center and creates a darker and colder tint with the white at lower right corner compared to the warmer and lighter tint created with Ivory Black at lower left corner.

In another example of mixing, Ivory Black is at right and gently mixing into Mars Yellow to its left, creating a rich green gold mixture.
