Dark and rich, Shale is a semi-transparent maroon that mixes without dulling, as it deepens the value of a color, with very little change in hue.
Cool in mixing and tinting, Shale is indispensable as a "magic black" full of color yet an instant shadow! Shown from left to right are our Bice, Ship Rock, Adobe, and Shale. Each of these chromatic grays are tinted along the bottom with our Titanium White.
